School Meal Announcement for 2021-2022 – Trinity Lutheran School
The Pennsylvania Department of Education through the United States Department of Agriculture(USDA) has approved FREE lunches for all students enrolled in school for the 2021/2022 school year. All students enrolled at Trinity Lutheran School preschool – 6th grade will receive free lunches this school year (2021-2022) under a program called Seamless Summer Option (SSO). An application is NOT necessary to receive this benefit.
* If meals were not free for all students would you submit a free/reduced meal application? If your answer is yes and you do not receive a Direct Certification letter by the end of August, you should fill out an application (which will be available on Back to School night August 25th) for this school year (2021-2022). The application will then be on file should funding run out for the SSO program.
We want to ensure that all students , if eligible, have meal benefits in place when the FREE meal benefits are no longer available through the Pennsylvania Department of Education/United States Department of Agriculture. If you have any questions, please contact Jill McCarthy, Food Service Director, at 570-724-7723.
Lunch and milk will be billed monthly through the FACTS Program.
